Mechanical Engineer
We are Sisco Jobs, a recruitment consultancy based in Trichy, Tamil Nadu. We are hiring on behalf of our client for the position of Mechanical Engineer in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Key Responsibilities
- Inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot mechanical equipment used in oil & gas operations.
- Review mechanical drawings, specifications, equipment data sheets, and technical documentation.
- Support installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of mechanical systems.
- Diagnose mechanical equipment faults and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
- Coordinate with operations, maintenance, engineering, and HSE teams during field activities.
- Ensure mechanical work complies with applicable engineering standards and site safety requirements.
- Monitor equipment condition and contribute to preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Prepare technical reports, maintenance records, inspection findings, and engineering documentation.
Required Skills
- Mechanical Engineering: Strong understanding of mechanical engineering fundamentals relevant to industrial equipment.
- Oil & Gas Equipment: Knowledge of pumps, compressors, piping systems, valves, and associated equipment.
- Maintenance Engineering: Understanding of preventive and corrective maintenance practices.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Ability to identify mechanical faults and determine appropriate corrective action.
- Engineering Drawings & Safety: Ability to interpret drawings and work within industrial HSE requirements.
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to oil & gas plant or field operations.
- Knowledge of rotating and static equipment.
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance and equipment reliability practices.
