Document Controller

Job Description

Own the document backbone of live engineering and construction projects in Abu Dhabi. This role needs a controller who keeps EDMS records audit-ready, enforces filing discipline and moves documents between engineering, site and client teams without delay.

Key Responsibilities

• Register, number, version-control and distribute drawings, specifications, transmittals and correspondence through the EDMS.
• Maintain document registers and transmittal logs; track submissions, approvals and revisions to closure.
• Enforce the project's document control procedures and naming conventions across all disciplines.
• Prepare document status reports and support internal and client audits.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, site and client teams to resolve documentation gaps.

What You Bring

• Diploma in any discipline or a relevant field.
• Minimum 2 years of dedicated Document Controller experience, preferably in engineering, construction or corporate environments.
• Proficiency in Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS) and the MS Office suite.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and familiarity with international compliance and documentation standards.
