Network Officer

The Network Officer is responsible for designing implementing managing and maintaining the organizations network infrastructure to ensure reliable and secure connectivity across all departments Key Responsibilities Install configure and maintain network hardware and software components including routers switches firewalls and wireless access points Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues to ensure minimal downtime Implement security measures to protect network data and infrastructure from unauthorized access cyber threats and vulnerabilities Maintain documentation of network configurations IP schemas and other technical details Conduct regular network audits and performance analysis Collaborate with IT teams and vendors for system upgrades repairs and procurement of network equipment Provide technical support and training to staff regarding networkrelated issues Ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry standards related to network security and data privacy Prepare reports on network performance incidents and improvement plans Qualifications Skills Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field Proven experience as a Network Technician Network Engineer or similar role Strong understanding of network protocols TCP IP DNS DHCP VPN and firewall configurations Experience with network monitoring tools and security solutions Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong communication skills
