Manager - Mechanical

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and decisive Manager - Mechanical to oversee construction supervision and mechanical systems implementation for our projects in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will lead mechanical construction teams, ensure compliance with UAE building codes and safety standards, and deliver high-quality mechanical installations on schedule and within budget. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise with exceptional leadership capabilities to manage complex mechanical projects from inception through completion.

• Supervise and coordinate mechanical construction activities on-site, ensuring adherence to project specifications, timelines, and quality standards
• Manage mechanical teams, including hiring, training, performance evaluation, and professional development
• Review and analyze technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate implementation of mechanical systems
• Conduct regular site inspections and quality assurance checks to verify compliance with design standards and safety protocols
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure efficient procurement and installation of mechanical equipment
• Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and implement cost control measures to maintain financial efficiency
• Ensure strict adherence to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) regulations and construction safety standards specific to Abu Dhabi
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, progress reports, and compliance records
• Identify and resolve technical issues and construction challenges through analytical problem-solving
• Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, engineers, and senior management
• Organize and schedule mechanical work activities to optimize resource allocation and project workflow

Qualifications

• 20+ years of professional experience in mechanical construction, HVAC systems installation, or related mechanical engineering fields
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Comprehensive knowledge of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and building automation systems
• Strong understanding of UAE construction codes, standards, and regulatory requirements
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and construction documents
• Demonstrated expertise in construction project management and site supervision
• Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
• Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic construction environment
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
