Role Purpose :
The Governance Lead will be responsible for establishing and overseeing the governance framework for the Organization / Department responsible for all Group Transformation initiatives related to SAP. SuccessFactors, Coupa. This role ensures that all design, development, and deployment activities align with program principles, business requirements, and strategic business + financial goals.
Role Details – Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities :
Governance Framework Development
Define and implement governance structures across the implementation lifecycle—from design and build, support and enhancement.
Lead risk assessments and mitigation strategies for solution design and deployment.
Collaborate with functional leads, technical architects, and business stakeholders to ensure governance principles are embedded in all phases.
Act as the primary point of contact for governance-related escalations and decisions.
Ensures governance documentation including RAID logs, design approvals, change requests, and compliance reports are properly maintained.
Provide regular updates on governance KPIs and risks.
Review and manage contracts related to implementation, including vendor agreements, service-level commitments, and licensing terms.
Ensure contractual obligations are aligned with governance policies and project objectives.
Collaborate with legal, procurement, and vendor management teams to resolve contract-related issues and ensure compliance.
Oversee the financial aspects of the program, including budgeting, forecasting, cost tracking, and variance analysis.
Ensure financial governance is embedded in all program activities and vendor engagements.
Functional / Technical Competencies :
Overall 20+ Years of experience in the field of Information Technology
Familiarity with SAP Activate methodology and agile delivery models.
Experience in contracts management and negotiation.
Experience managing governance boards, reviewing contracts, and overseeing program finances.
Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
