WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

The CAD Technician is responsible for creating and updating technical drawings for wastewater and sewage projects. This role supports engineers by turning designs into clear, accurate 2D and 3D drawings.

• Prepare detailed 2D and 3D drawings for civil, mechanical, and electrical components related to wastewater and sewage network systems.
• Assist engineers by creating technical drawings from sketches, notes, and verbal instructions.
• Maintain and update “as-built” drawings for ongoing projects.
• Collaborate with project and maintenance teams to ensure drawing accuracy.
• Revise drawings based on engineering feedback, site changes, or updated specifications.
• Support the creation of layout plans, general arrangement drawings, and detailed sections.
• Ensure compliance with CAD standards and engineering drawing protocols.
• Conduct on-site visits as necessary to verify dimensions and collect data on the existing sewage network configuration for drafting.
• Coordinate with contractors and suppliers regarding drawing requirements and revisions.
• Produce drawings for tender, construction, and record purposes.
• Participate in technical meetings to support project execution and drawing clarification.
• Prepare presentation materials when required using AutoCAD or visualization tools
