  • Install fabricate assemble andrepair duct systems in oil and gasfacilities.
  • Measure and cut ducts to therequired size using appropriate tools andequipment.
  • Read and interpret blueprintsschematics and technical drawings to install ductwork according tospecifications.
  • Perform layout tasks and markdimensions and reference lines on metalsheets.
  • Assemble ducts by connecting the seamsjoints and other parts using appropriate sealingmaterials.
  • Inspect ductwork for any damagesleaks or defects and perform necessaryrepairs.
  • Ensure proper insulation of ductsystems to enhance efficiency andsafety.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in goodworking condition.
  • Adhere to all safetyprotocols especially while working in confined spaces orhighpressure environments typical in oil and gasprojects.
  • Collaborate with other trades anddepartments such as HVAC technicians welders and engineers tocompleteinstallations.

    • Qualifications :

    • High schooldiploma or equivalent.
    • Technical certificationor diploma in duct installation HVAC or a related field is aplus.
    • 35 years of experience in ductworkinstallation with at least 2 years in the oil and gasindustry.

      • AdditionalInformation :

    • Provenexperience as a Ductman in the oil and gassector.
    • Ability to read and interpretblueprints and technical drawings.
    • Goodunderstanding of ductwork installation and insulationtechniques.
    • Knowledge of different types ofducts (e.g. sheet metal fiberglassflexible).
    • Familiarity with HVAC systems andstandards.
    • Physically fit to handlelaborintensive tasks.
    • Strong safety awarenessand adherence to health and safetyregulations.
    • Relevant certification in ductinstallation or HVAC is preferred.
    • Willingnessto work in remote locations including offshore or desertenvironments as required.
    • Technical expertisein duct fabrication and installation.
    • Abilityto use hand and power tools safely.
    • Strongproblemsolving and teamworkabilities.
    • Effective communicationskills.
