SENIOR SAP SYSTEM ARCHITECT

We are seeking a Senior SAP System Architect to lead the design, integration, and implementation of SAP solutions across complex government and public sector environments. The ideal candidate will bring – years of SAP expertise with a proven track record in large-scale transformations, especially in SAP S/4HANA migrations. This role requires both deep technical mastery and the ability to translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and future-ready architectures.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and Design the overall SAP system landscape, including SAP S/4HANA, SAP Fiori, SAP BTP, and integration with non-SAP platforms.

• Lead large-scale migration projects (Greenfield, Brownfield, Hybrid), ensuring minimal disruption to mission-critical operations.

• Define system sizing, performance optimization, and high availability (HA/DR) strategies to meet enterprise-scale requirements.

• Ensure compliance with government regulations and implement robust security and authorization frameworks.

• Collaborate with senior stakeholders (CIO, IT Directors, Business Leaders) to align SAP solutions with strategic objectives.

• Provide technical leadership to Basis teams, functional consultants, and integration specialists.

• Oversee multi-entity deployments, balancing centralized vs. decentralized architecture approaches.

• Guide infrastructure refresh programs, ensuring scalability and cost-effectiveness.

• Act as a subject-matter expert for SAP business functionality (Finance, HR/Payroll, Procurement, Logistics, Supply Chain, Defense/Healthcare modules).

• Mentor junior architects and consultants, fostering knowledge transfer and talent development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering (mandatory).

• Master’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).

• – years of progressive SAP experience, including 8+ years in senior architect leadership roles.

• Demonstrated expertise in government and public sector SAP projects with strict security and compliance requirements.

• Hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA system architecture, Basis administration, integration, and performance tuning.

• Knowledge of SAP business functionality in Finance, HR, Procurement, and Logistics.
