Senior Piping Engineer - Office Based

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Piping Engineer to lead piping design, engineering, and coordination activities for major oil & gas projects. The ideal candidate will have 15+ years of experience in piping design, analysis, and EPC project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and review piping design deliverables, including P&IDs, isometrics, layouts, and stress analysis reports.

• Coordinate with process, mechanical, civil, and other engineering disciplines to ensure design integrity.

• Review and approve material specifications, datasheets, and vendor documents for piping systems.

• Ensure compliance with project standards, client specifications, and international codes (ASME, API, ISO).

• Participate in HAZOP, design reviews, and technical audits.

• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior piping engineers.

• Support procurement, construction, and commissioning teams with technical clarifications.

• Ensure timely delivery of piping engineering deliverables and maintain quality standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Piping/Process Engineering.

• 15+ years of piping engineering experience in the oil & gas sector.

• Strong knowledge of piping design, stress analysis, material selection, and EPC workflows.

• Proficiency in design and analysis software (CAESAR II, PDMS, AutoCAD, SmartPlant P&ID, etc.).

• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work in office or site-based project environments with multidisciplinary teams.
