NOC Network and Security Engineer

About the Role Join our dynamic Network Operations Center NOC team in Abu Dhabi as a Network Security Engineer You will be responsible for monitoring maintaining and securing critical network infrastructure in a 24 7 environment This role requires handson expertise in Cisco routing Palo Alto firewalls and VPN configuration to ensure optimal performance and resilience of our network services Responsibilities Monitor and maintain network infrastructure including routers switches and firewalls in a NOC environment Configure manage and optimize Cisco routing protocols and device configurations Implement and maintain Palo Alto firewall policies NAT rules and security profiles Design deploy and troubleshoot VPN solutions IPSec SSL for sitetosite and remote access Respond to and resolve network and security incidents escalating as needed Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to support network projects and changes Document network configurations procedures and topology diagrams Participate in change management and maintenance windows to minimize service disruptions Skills Required Qualifications 5 10 years of handson experience in network and security engineering or NOC operations Expertise in Cisco routing and switching technologies e g OSPF BGP EIGRP IOS IOSXE Proficiency in Palo Alto firewall configuration and policy management Solid experience with VPN technologies IPSec SSL VPN Strong troubleshooting and faultisolation skills in complex network environments Experience with network monitoring and management tools e g SolarWinds Nagios Excellent communication problemsolving and teamcollaboration skills
