CNS Middle East is hiring an experienced Senior Data Engineer to support large-scale enterprise data initiatives in Abu Dhabi. This role is critical in designing, modernizing, and optimizing cloud-based data platforms that enable advanced analytics, reporting, and data-driven decision-making.
As a Senior Data Engineer, you will play a key role in shaping enterprise data architecture and delivering robust, scalable data pipelines. You will lead cloud migration initiatives to Azure, modernizing ETL workflows and data platforms while ensuring governance, security, and performance standards are met. The role involves close collaboration with analytics teams, data governance stakeholders, and cross-functional IT groups. You will work hands‑on with modern Azure services such as ADF, Databricks, Synapse, and Microsoft Fabric in a complex enterprise environment. This is a high-impact role offering strong technical ownership across data engineering, cloud optimization, and big data ecosystems.
To strengthen your application, clearly highlight cloud migration projects you’ve led—especially Azure ETL modernization—and quantify outcomes such as performance gains, data volume handled, or cost optimizations achieved.
