Planning Engineer

About the Role

As Planning Engineer, you will be central to the successful delivery of complex construction projects, driving the schedule, monitoring progress, and ensuring every phase runs on time and to program. This is a role for someone who thrives under pressure and takes ownership of results.

What You'll Be Doing

• Developing, maintaining and monitoring detailed project programs using Primavera P6 and MS Project
• Preparing and issuing progress reports, look ahead schedules and delay analyses
• Working closely with project managers, site teams and clients to ensure program alignment
• Identifying potential delays and proposing proactive mitigation measures
• Supporting commercial and contractual reporting as it relates to schedule
• Contributing to tender submissions and baseline schedule development

Requirements

• 5+ years of planning and scheduling experience within the construction sector
• Strong proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project is essential
• Background in architecture, engineering or construction projects in the GCC preferred
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise at all levels
• Detail-oriented with a proactive and collaborative approach
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture or related field
