PMC Electrical Engineering Specialist

Wood is currently recruiting for an experienced PMC Electrical Engineering Specialist for our client ADNOC Offshore project in Abu Dhabi as part of our electrical engineering within our Oil, Gas & New Energies business.

Due to the nature of the projects and client expectation, the position will be based at our client office in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

The Role

• Provide technical expertise in all Electrical design
• Ensure design and engineering compliance with relevant codes and ADNOC standards
• Coordinate, Monitor and handle Electrical design and engineering with EPC Contractor as per project expectation and complete the same within the time frame
• Work with other discipline engineers within IPMT, EPC Contractor, ADNOC Engineering / Operation / Site Interface to resolve technical issues and ensure quality Discipline Engineering execution and integrity etc.
• Perform regular and timely technical reviews of Electrical Engineering deliverables developed by engineering consultants/contractors, ensuring design quality in compliance with relevant codes, standards, and best practices.

Expected

• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in oil and gas industry
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent technical team and interpersonal skills
• Experience and detailed knowledge of relevant international codes and standards
• Knowledge of engineering computer programs and general business software
• Ability to make independent decisions in the planning, organizing and coordinating to develop solutions to complex problems
