Accountant

We are seeking a detailoriented and dedicated Accountant with over 3 years of experience to join our finance team The ideal candidate will assist with the preparation of financial statements handle accounts payable and receivable and support the senior accountant in various accounting tasks Key Responsibilities Assist in the preparation of financial reports such as financial statements and budget performance Aid in the implementation of new accounting policies standards and guidelines Assist with tax preparation audits and identifying and resolving discrepancies Assist with payroll administration and ensure payroll issues are resolved Maintain and reconcile balance sheet and general ledger accounts Perform monthly balance sheet income statement and changes in financial position budget variance analyses Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner Stay informed of industry trends and best practices Skills Bachelor s degree in Accounting Finance or a related field 3 years of accounting experience in INDIA preferably in a corporate environment Proficiency in accounting software e g SAP FICO and Microsoft Office Suite particularly Excel Mandatory Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong analytical and problemsolving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills
