Position Purpose

To lead and manage all Health, Safety, Environmental, Fire Safety and Regulatory

Compliance activities across the JAFZA Warehouse and Head Office Complex, ensuring full

compliance with JAFZA, Trakhees-EHS, Dubai Civil Defense and UAE regulatory

requirements while fostering a proactive safety culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all applicable JAFZA, Trakhees-EHS, Dubai Civil Defense and UAE

HSE regulations.

• Act as the primary liaison with regulatory authorities.

• Lead risk assessments, HIRA, JSA and Safe Work Procedures.

• Manage warehouse safety programs including forklift operations, racking safety, loading

bays, battery charging areas, contractor management and hazardous materials handling.

• Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions.

• Develop emergency response plans and conduct drills.

• Manage environmental compliance, waste management and sustainability initiatives.

• Deliver HSE training, inductions and awareness campaigns.

• Lead internal and external audits and maintain compliance documentation.

Authority & Accountability

• Stop unsafe work activities.

• Escalate regulatory and compliance risks to management.

• Recommend disciplinary action for repeated safety violations.

• Approve HSE procedures, risk assessments and safety permits within delegated authority.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science or

related discipline.

Experience

Minimum 8–10 years of HSE experience including at least 5 years in a managerial role.

Experience within JAFZA, logistics, warehousing or distribution environments is mandatory.

• NEBOSH International Diploma (Preferred) or NEBOSH IGC

• IOSH Managing Safely

• Fire Marshal / Fire Warden Certification

• First Aid & CPR Certification

• Incident Investigation Training
