Roles Responsibilities Manage and stabilize critically ill patients with complex medical conditions ensuring optimal organ system support Perform and interpret invasive procedures like central line placement arterial catheterization and bronchoscopy to guide treatment Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans including medication management ventilator support and fluid resuscitation Continuously monitor patient responses to interventions adjusting treatment strategies based on realtime physiological data Desired Candidate Profile Possesses a medical degree MD or DO from an accredited institution Completed a residency in Internal Medicine Anesthesiology or Emergency Medicine Successfully completed a fellowship in Critical Care Medicine Board certification or eligibility in Critical Care Medicine
