Roles Responsibilities VAT Compliance Regulatory Management Review VAT computations reconciliations and supporting schedules prior to submission to the tax authorities Perform detailed reviews of sales transactions output VAT calculations and revenue reconciliations to identify compliance risks and reporting inaccuracies Review purchase transactions and input VAT recovery assessments to ensure compliance with recoverability rules and documentation requirements Oversee import and export VAT reconciliations customsrelated VAT treatments reverse charge transactions and crossborder supplies Monitor changes in VAT legislation and assess their impact on existing business processes and reporting requirements Support tax authority audits assessments information requests and investigations by preparing documentation and responding to queries Identify VAT risks and control gaps and implement corrective actions to strengthen compliance Operations Governance Review and validate key VAT controls to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements Monitor VATrelated KPIs dashboards and compliance metrics Ensure timely closure of VAT exceptions unresolved reconciliations and reporting discrepancies Drive standardization of VAT processes across entities business units and jurisdictions Tax Technology Automation Process Improvement Drive automation initiatives to improve VAT compliance reconciliation reporting and monitoring processes Partner with IT Finance Transformation and external vendors to implement tax technology solutions Develop dashboards and analytical tools to improve visibility over VAT risks compliance status and operational performance Reporting Management Information Prepare and present VAT compliance status reports risk assessments and operational dashboards to senior management Monitor key performance indicators related to VAT compliance filing accuracy exception management and process efficiency Support leadership with insights and recommendations to strengthen tax governance and operational effectiveness Desired Candidate Profile 7 9 years of experience in GCC VAT Indirect Tax compliance or Shared Services operations Strong knowledge of UAE VAT and exposure to KSA VAT regulations Experience managing outsourced service providers and largevolume VAT operations Strong stakeholder management and communication skills Prior experience with ERP systems such as Oracle or Microsoft Dynamics Exposure to VAT automation Tax Technology and process transformation initiatives MBA Finance CA CMA ACCA completed or part qualified
