Junior HVAC Engineer

Roles Responsibilities Assist in the design and drafting of HVAC systems including ductwork piping and equipment layout ensuring compliance with project specifications and building codes Support senior engineers in performing load calculations and energy modeling to optimize system performance and efficiency Conduct site visits to gather information inspect installations and troubleshoot issues documenting findings and recommendations Prepare technical documentation such as equipment schedules submittal reviews and project reports with a focus on accuracy and clarity Desired Candidate Profile Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution Possession of an EngineerinTraining EIT certification is highly preferred 02 years of relevant internship or coop experience in HVAC design or mechanical systems Familiarity with HVAC industry standards such as ASHRAE SMACNA and local building codes
