Document Controller Fitout

Roles Responsibilities Manage maintain and control all project documents drawings submittals RFIs transmittals and correspondence Establish and maintain an organized document control system for multiple interior fitout projects Receive register distribute and archive project documents in accordance with company procedures Track document revisions and ensure only the latest approved versions are circulated to project teams Prepare and maintain document registers logs and trackers for drawings material submittals shop drawings and technical submissions Coordinate with Project Managers Site Engineers Consultants Clients and Subcontractors regarding document submissions and approvals Ensure timely submission and followup of material submittals shop drawings and technical documents Maintain both electronic and hard copy filing systems with proper version control Support project teams in preparing project closeout documentation handover files and asbuilt records Generate periodic reports on document status pending approvals and submission trackers Ensure confidentiality accuracy and compliance with company document control procedures Assist in maintaining ISO documentation and quality management records where applicable Desired Candidate Profile Bachelor s Degree or Diploma in Business Administration Engineering or a related field Minimum 3 5 years of UAE experience as a Document Controller in Interior FitOut Joinery or Construction projects Interior FitOut experience is mandatory Strong knowledge of document control procedures transmittals RFIs material submittals and shop drawing workflows Experience handling consultant and client documentation throughout the project lifecycle Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word Excel Outlook and document management systems Aconex Procore EDMS or similar is preferred Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize deadlines effectively Strong communication and coordination skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and work in a fastpaced environment Immediate joiners or candidates with short notice periods will be preferred
