Mechanical Design Engineer Automotive

Roles Responsibilities Design and develop custom automotive accessories using CAD software Prepare 3D models technical drawings and Bills of Materials BOMs Design products such as roof racks canopies drawer systems rooftop tent mounts storage boxes ladders rear carriers side steps skid plates and custom mounting brackets Conduct feasibility studies to ensure designs are manufacturable and costeffective Coordinate with fabrication and production teams to bring designs from concept to production Develop prototypes perform testing and improve designs based on realworld performance Ensure products meet quality safety and manufacturing standards Desired Candidate Profile Bachelor s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical design preferably in automotive or fabrication Proficient in SolidWorks and AutoCAD Knowledge of sheet metal welding and manufacturing processes Experience with ANSYS or SolidWorks Simulation is an advantage
