Senior Structural Inspector

Roles Responsibilities We are seeking a highly motivated and detailoriented Senior Structural Inspector to join our growing Site Supervision team The successful candidate will lead structural inspection activities across luxury residential and mixeduse developments ensuring all structural works are executed in accordance with approved drawings project specifications quality standards and safety requirements The role requires strong coordination with contractors consultants design teams and regulatory authorities including Dubai Municipality DM and Dubai Development Authority DDA The ideal candidate should possess extensive site supervision experience and the ability to proactively identify assess and resolve constructionrelated challenges while maintaining project quality and compliance standards Key Responsibilities Conduct and lead structural inspections for all construction activities ensuring compliance with approved drawings specifications and applicable codes and standards Monitor ongoing structural works including reinforcement concrete works formwork structural steel and related activities Review and verify inspection requests material approvals and site documentation prior to execution Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors to ensure timely rectification of nonconforming works Liaise with Dubai Municipality DM Dubai Development Authority DDA and other relevant authorities during site inspections and approval processes Work closely with the Design Team to resolve technical issues and provide practical engineering solutions for siterelated challenges Ensure compliance with project quality plans inspection test plans ITPs and health and safety requirements Review shop drawings method statements and material submissions from a site execution perspective Prepare inspection reports nonconformance reports NCRs observations and recommendations for corrective actions Monitor construction progress and provide technical input to ensure structural integrity and workmanship standards are maintained Support project stakeholders in achieving project milestones while ensuring adherence to quality and regulatory requirements Attend coordination meetings with contractors consultants and project management teams to address technical and constructionrelated issues Desired Candidate Profile Bachelor s Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline 7 10 years of experience in structural inspection site supervision or construction quality control Proven experience in luxury residential highrise mixeduse or largescale construction projects Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete structural steel and construction methodologies Handson experience dealing with DM DDA and other relevant authority inspections and approvals Thorough understanding of local regulations construction standards and international engineering codes Ability to identify site issues and collaborate with design and construction teams to develop effective engineering solutions Excellent communication coordination and stakeholder management skills Proficiency in preparing technical reports inspection records and quality documentation Strong commitment to quality safety and continuous improvement
