Sr Joinery Estimator

Roles Responsibilities Job Purpose To prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for bespoke joinery and fitout works by analyzing drawings specifications and scope documents ensuring timely submission of quotations and tenders Key Responsibilities Review architectural and joinery drawings BOQs and specifications to understand project scope Prepare detailed cost estimates for custom joinery loose and fixed furniture and fitout elements Quantify materials labor and production hours required for manufacturing and site works Coordinate with the design production procurement and project teams for technical and cost inputs Request obtain and analyze supplier and subcontractor quotations Prepare cost comparisons and value engineering options to optimize pricing Submit tender bid documents as per client requirements and timelines Attend site visits or meetings if required to understand project conditions Support the sales and project teams with pricing clarifications and revisions Maintain and update a database of costings rates and suppliers for future reference Desired Candidate Profile Requirements Experience Minimum 5 years of estimation experience in a joinery manufacturing setup Education Diploma or Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering Architecture Interior Design or a related technical field Skills Strong knowledge of joinery materials production processes and site practices Proficiency in reading technical drawings and specifications Strong MS Excel skills experience with estimation software is an advantage Attention to detail time management and analytical skills
