Automotive Harness Engineer - Electrical

We are hiring an Automotive Electrical Engineer –Harness for a growing automotive engineering team in the UAE. This role is ideal for an engineer with hands-on experience in automotive wiring harness design, vehicle electrical systems, schematics, routing, connector selection, and integration with ECUs, sensors, infotainment, and related vehicle components.

The successful candidate will support the design, development, testing, and implementation of reliable wiring harness systems across automotive projects, working closely with design, manufacturing, and quality teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop wiring harness systems for automotive applications
  
• Create and review electrical schematics, diagrams, and layouts
  
• Define wire routing, connector selection, and protection strategies
  
• Ensure integration of harness systems with vehicle components (ECU, sensors, infotainment, etc.)
  
• Perform testing and validation of harness systems (continuity, durability, environmental conditions)
  
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide root cause analysis
  
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure smooth implementation
  
• Optimize harness design for cost, weight, and performance
  
• Ensure compliance with automotive standards and safety regulations
  
• Support production and resolve any electrical-related concerns during manufacturing
