Logistics Engineer Junior - UAE (X4)

This is a quality-driven recruitment exercise for a client who prioritises technical excellence and cultural fit. We are looking for hands-on, site-experienced professionals with a proven track record in construction site logistics – not warehousing, supply chain, or transport-only backgrounds. You will be responsible for the technical planning, coordination, and execution of logistics operations across the construction site, overseeing Logistics Foremen and ensuring materials, equipment, and site access are managed efficiently and safely.

We have four specific positions available:

1. Logistics Engineer – Junior – x3 – Large-scale mixed-use megadevelopment, Abu Dhabi

2. Logistics Engineer – Junior – x1 – Iconic commercial/residential tower development, Abu Dhabi

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.

• Minimum 5 years' experience in construction site logistics or site engineering.

• Strong knowledge of logistics planning, plant operations, and HSE compliance.

• Experience on large-scale building or infrastructure projects.

• Familiarity with LEED/Estidama and environmental reporting is advantageous.

• Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and logistics planning software.

• Strong communication, leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills.

• LEEA AP certification is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement site logistics plans aligned with construction programmes.

• Supervise Logistics Foremen and coordinate daily logistics operations.

• Manage site access, material flow, plant movement, hoists, ramps, and transport routes.

• Coordinate logistics support across multiple construction disciplines.

• Review procurement requests for logistics-related equipment and materials.

• Ensure compliance with HSE, environmental, and project standards.

• Oversee welfare facilities and designated logistics zones.

• Monitor plant utilisation, fuel consumption, and lifting equipment status.

• Support cost control, reporting, and contra-charge processes.

• Conduct inspections, audits, and logistics planning meetings.

• Manage supplier coordination for deliveries, servicing, breakdowns, and off-hiring.

• Maintain logistics documentation, including lifting plans, MSRAs, temporary works, and toolbox talks.

• Identify and implement logistics process improvements.
