Roles Responsibilities The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily cleaning operations ensuring high standards of cleanliness hygiene and safety across all assigned areas The supervisor will lead train and monitor housekeeping staff to maintain a clean and safe environment for patients guests and staff Inspect work quality and ensure compliance with hospital hotel hygiene and infection control standards Prepare duty rosters and assign tasks to housekeeping staff for day night shifts Monitor inventory of cleaning chemicals equipment and linen Raise purchase requests when needed Team Management Train new staff on cleaning procedures chemical usage and safety protocols Conduct briefings before each shift and address staff concerns Handle complaints from departments sisters and take corrective action immediately Maintain discipline and ensure staff follow rules Ensure proper use of PPE and safe handling of cleaning chemicals Follow waste management protocols including biomedical and general waste Report maintenance issues like plumbing electrical or equipment faults Maintain records of attendance leave cleaning checklists and incidents Skills Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment Basic computer skills for reports Good communication and team leadership skills Ability to work in shifts including nights Desired Candidate Profile Experience 10 years experience in housekeeping Senior Hospital and Hotel experience is an advantage Skills Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment Basic computer skills for reports Good communication and team leadership skills Ability to work in shifts including night shifts
