Commissioning Head - Solar PV & BESS

Description

The Commissioning Head - Solar PV & BESS will be responsible for overseeing the commissioning process for solar photovoltaic and battery energy storage systems. This role requires a seasoned professional to ensure that all installations meet quality, safety, and performance standards before handing them over to operational teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the commissioning of Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) projects.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements during commissioning processes.
• Collaborate with project teams to develop and implement commissioning plans and schedules.
• Conduct system testing and performance evaluation to ensure optimal operation of solar PV and BESS installations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that arise during the commissioning phase.
• Provide training and support to operational teams on system operation and maintenance.
• Prepare and present commissioning reports and documentation to stakeholders.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
• 15-25 years of experience in commissioning, particularly with Solar PV and BESS projects.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, power electronics, and renewable energy technologies.
• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Effective communication and leadership skills to manage teams and liaise with clients and stakeholders.
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to solar PV and energy storage systems.
