About the role This internship provides the analytical support necessary to support a mandate for a regional logistics and investment group. The role exists to bridge the gap between complex raw data and the high-level decisions our principals must facilitate. You will help clarify the performance of specific assets within this investment group to ensure our advice remains rigorous and evidence-based.
About Arabian Private Holdings Arabian Private Holdings was established to address corporate problems that do not benefit from the traditional consulting approach. We do not use large teams or lengthy methodology decks to justify our presence. Instead, we provide direct partner attention to holding companies, family groups, and government entities that require clarity over complexity. Our work involves corporate strategy, governance, and the restructuring of operating models. Because we are a boutique firm, we take on a limited number of mandates to ensure every client receives a rigorous, independent view of their business. We operate as a fully remote firm, valuing the quality of our analysis and the strength of our relationships over traditional office presence.
What you will do - Gather and verify operational figures from the regional logistics group to support current mandates.
- Update internal spreadsheets and data models to reflect the latest performance metrics across the portfolio.
- Create clear charts and tables that highlight capital allocation trends for principal review.
- Review governance documents to ensure that data reporting remains consistent with new operating models.
- Identify inconsistencies in data sets and propose logical ways to resolve them.
- Support the drafting of internal reports that summarize asset performance for different business units.
- Conduct background research on logistics sector benchmarks to provide context for client data.
- Assist the principals in preparing technical summaries for board-level discussions.
What we are looking for - A foundational understanding of data organization and the ability to work comfortably in Excel.
- Logical rigor: the ability to look at a list of numbers and spot errors or outliers.
- Clear written communication that favors brevity and plain English.
- A genuine curiosity about how large holding companies manage diverse investments.
- Self-discipline in a remote environment, including the ability to manage your own hours and reach out when you need guidance.
- Willingness to take feedback directly from firm principals and incorporate it into your work.
How we work Operational clarity is our priority, and this extends to our own internal structure. We are a fully remote firm, which means we communicate through written reports, scheduled calls, and shared working documents. This model requires each member of the team to be disciplined and focused on the quality of their specific contributions. While the work is remote, the connection to our leadership is direct. As an intern, you will not work through layers of middle management. Instead, you will assist the principals who are directly accountable for client outcomes. We focus on results and the logic behind them, rewarding those who can form an evidence-based view and present it clearly.
What the role offers - A paid position with compensation that is competitive for the internship market.
- The flexibility of working in a fully remote environment without the need for commuting.
- Direct mentorship from partners who have managed complex corporate transitions and strategy mandates.
- Exposure to the high-level governance and operations of a major regional logistics and investment group.
- Training in how to synthesize data for a board-level audience, focusing on what matters most to decision-makers.
