Job Description
Managing Linux operating systems in a productive environment, HPC computing clusters. HPC User Support (User Requests and Application Support). The selected Candidate will be involved in training programs for users in both HPC and Linux environments.
Minimum Qualification
Bachelor or Master's degree in either of these majors, Computer Science, telecommunication or bioinformatics
Preferred Qualification
Master's degree in either of these majors, Computer Science, telecommunication or bioinformatics
Expected Skills
Experience in HPC cluster and installing genomic applications.Knowledge of UNIX and LINUX operating systems, storage environments and technologies, file systems, and network protocols. Experience in monitoring and backup tools. Data backup and maintenance. Familiarity with UNIX and LINUX shell scripting. High-performance interconnects, preferably Mellanox. Experience in cluster management software, preferably Bright Computing. Experience in workload management software such as PBS/Slurm. MPI libraries. Understanding of backup procedures and storage management. Knowledge in database administration is a plus.
