QS Engineer

Roles Responsibilities We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor for our Landscaping division The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of BOQ preparation cost control and submittals specific to softscape hardscape and irrigation projects in the UAE KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Commercial Cost Management Prepare accurate BOQ for tenders variations and final accounts for landscape hardscape and irrigation works Review tender documents drawings and specifications Identify scope gaps and risks Prepare cost estimates rate analysis and budget forecasts Track project costs commitments and prepare monthly cost reports Process variation orders claims and EOT with proper substantiation Documentation Submittals Prepare and review submittals for materials shop drawings and method statements Prepare interim payment applications IPCs and final bills as per contract Maintain proper documentation for procurement subcontractor valuations and client correspondence Coordinate with Site Engineers PM and Procurement for cost control Contracts Procurement Review contracts subcontract agreements and ensure compliance Raise RFQs compare quotations and support procurement team in vendor finalization Assist in tender submissions and value engineering proposals Desired Candidate Profile REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS SKILLS Education Degree Diploma in Civil Engineering Quantity Surveying Experience 3 5 years experience as QS in Landscaping Hardscape Irrigation projects in UAE GCC Must Have Knowledge BOQ preparation for softscape hardscape irrigation MEP Contract documents FIDIC UAE Standard Contract Submittal process and document control Software MS Excel AutoCAD MS Project QS software like CostX is a plus Strong negotiation analytical and communication skills Immediate joiners preferred BENEFITS Health Insurance as per UAE Labour Law Annual Leave 30 Calendar Days Paid Public Holidays as per UAE Government Visa Air Ticket as per company policy Competitive Salary Other allowances
