Offshore Slickline Supervisor Opportunity

Performance Energy is recruiting an experienced Slickline Supervisor for a long-term offshore well intervention assignment in the Middle East.

The successful candidate will supervise day or night shift slickline operations, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with approved well intervention procedures. This position requires extensive offshore supervisory experience and a strong background in mechanical slickline and gas lift operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise offshore slickline and well intervention operations.

• Lead shift personnel, coordinate operational handovers and maintain clear reporting.

• Oversee plug setting and retrieval, gas lift activities, well clean-up and scale removal.

• Supervise side pocket mandrel interventions, jetting operations and limited fishing work.

• Support equipment preparation, function testing and operational readiness.

• Coordinate with offshore well services, engineering and operational teams.

• Maintain high standards of safety, procedural compliance and service quality.

• Support cased-hole logging and associated wireline activities when required.

Essential Experience

• Minimum 5+ years' experience as a Slickline Supervisor.

• Proven offshore slickline and well intervention experience.

• Strong mechanical slickline background.

• Practical experience with gas lift systems and interventions.

• Competence in plug setting, plug retrieval and well integrity operations.

• Experience with scale removal, well clean-up and basic fishing activities.

• Strong leadership, communication and shift-management capabilities.

Certification Requirements

Candidates must hold a valid supervisory-level well control certificate, such as:

• IADC Supervisor; or

• IWCF Level 4.

Candidates able to obtain the required certification before mobilisation may also be considered.
