About our client

We are working with a leading global investment firm based in Abu Dhabi, backed by substantial long-term capital. They have a diversified portfolio spanning private equity and real assets. What the job involves

• Lead and manage portfolio management activities for real assets
• Own portfolio performance oversight - monitoring, reporting, and driving improvement across platform companies' operational and financial performance
• Act as a trusted, senior point of contact for platform company C-suite leadership, building strong working relationships to support strategic and operational priorities
• Support the deal execution and M&A teams on due diligence, structuring, and closing of transactions and co-investments as needed
• Present portfolio performance and recommendations to senior leadership and relevant investment/executive committees
• Partner closely with the Head of Investments, Head of Capital Allocation, and other internal stakeholders across portfolio companies

Who we are looking for

• A blended investment and operational background - someone who thinks like an investor - with direct, hands-on exposure to portfolio management and asset performance improvement
• Significant prior private equity investment experience, having acted as principal, is required
• Demonstrated experience in real assets
• Transaction-related experience, including due diligence, deal execution, financing, and co-investments. While this is not an origination role, credibility in deal processes is important
• Exposure to both the Middle East and global markets is highly valued
