Construction Manager

REQUIRED FOR HIGHRISE BUILDING PROJECTS IN DUBAI Job Summary The Construction Manager is responsible for the overall planning coordination execution and supervision of construction activities on site The role ensures that all works are completed safely on schedule within budget and in full compliance with project specifications drawings quality standards and contractual requirements The Construction Manager leads site teams and subcontractors while coordinating closely with consultants clients and internal stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery Key Responsibilities Planning Coordination Plan monitor and control all site activities to achieve productivity targets and adherence to approved project schedules Develop implement and monitor construction methodologies and production control systems including preparation of method statements and work procedures Prepare work packages construction sequences and prestart activity plans Coordinate onsite and offsite logistics with procurement and stores teams to ensure timely delivery of materials equipment and resources Plan and manage precommissioning activities final handover and closure of all snag items Site Supervision Execution Supervise and coordinate all onsite construction activities ensuring effective site organization and allocation of responsibilities Ensure execution of works in accordance with approved construction programs method statements specifications drawings and quality requirements Track document and communicate all design changes and site instructions as directed by the Project Manager or Consultant Lead and coordinate subcontractor activities conducting regular site meetings to review progress productivity quality and corrective actions Quality Assurance Control Review site quality observations NCRs and inspection reports ensuring timely corrective and preventive actions Ensure all inspections and tests are carried out and approved prior to covering up works in coordination with the QA QC team Manage nonconforming works and oversee remedial and corrective activities Evaluate and monitor subcontractor and supplier performance Review drawings specifications and shop drawings resolving technical issues in coordination with Engineering and the Project Manager Communication Liaison Liaise with clients consultants local authorities and other stakeholders to ensure compliance and smooth project execution Ensure all verbal instructions design changes and site directives are properly documented and communicated Coordinate with the Commercial Manager Quantity Surveyor on changes affecting cost variations and claims Health Safety Environment Implement and enforce project HSE policies procedures and safe work practices on site Promote a strong safety culture with the objective of achieving zero accidents and incidents Take appropriate disciplinary action for safety violations and respond effectively to incidents and emergencies Ensure compliance with statutory safety regulations and company HSE standards Required Qualifications Competencies Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering Architectural Engineering 15 years of experience in construction management roles preferable highrise building projects Strong technical knowledge of construction materials methods logistics and site execution Proven leadership and team management capabilities Strong understanding of construction planning scheduling and production control Excellent coordination communication and problemsolving skills Proficient in spoken and written English Strong computer skills and familiarity with construction management tools Ability to manage conflicts risks and critical site situations effectively
