Retail Sales Supervisor

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Retail Sales Supervisor to support and oversee retail sales operations across the company’s locations.

The ideal candidate should have strong retail experience, proven team leadership skills, and the ability to monitor sales performance, improve underperforming locations, coach sales staff, and maintain high customer-service standards.

This role requires someone who can manage daily sales operations, review KPIs, follow up on targets, conduct store visits, support staff performance improvement, and prepare clear reports for management.

Main Responsibilities

• Supervise daily retail sales operations across assigned locations.
  
• Monitor individual and location sales performance.
  
• Set and follow up on daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
  
• Review zero-sales days and take immediate corrective action.
  
• Coach staff on product knowledge, upselling, cross-selling, and customer service.
  
• Conduct regular store visits and performance reviews.
  
• Ensure attendance, grooming, discipline, and company procedures are followed.
  
• Coordinate with Operations, HR, Inventory, and Marketing teams.
  
• Review stock availability, promotions, merchandising, and store execution.
  
• Prepare consolidated sales and performance reports for management.
  
• Identify weak performers and support improvement plans.
  
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of sales staff.
  

Requirements

• Minimum 3–5 years of retail sales experience.
  
• Previous experience as a Retail Sales Supervisor, Store Supervisor, Senior Store Manager, Area Supervisor, or Retail Team Leader.
  
• UAE retail experience is strongly preferred.
  
• Multi-location retail supervision experience is an advantage.
  
• Strong knowledge of sales targets, KPIs, conversion rate, ATV, zero-sales monitoring, and store performance.
  
• Ability to coach, motivate, evaluate, and develop sales staff.
  
• Strong reporting, communication, follow-up, and problem-solving skills.
  
• Experience handling attendance, performance issues, and disciplinary escalations.
  
• Good understanding of stock availability, visual merchandising, promotions, and customer experience.
  
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and retail POS systems.
  
• Strong English communication skills; Arabic is an advantage.
  

Preferred Industry Experience

Priority will be given to candidates with experience in:

• Bath, body, skincare, cosmetics, fragrance, or wellness products.
  
• Leather goods, wallets, bags, gifts, or fashion accessories.
  
• Candy, chocolate, confectionery, snacks, or specialty food retail.
  
• Specialty retail brands such as Bath & Body Works, The Body Shop, Lush, Sephora, chocolate/confectionery retailers, leather-goods stores, gift shops, or similar retail environments.
