Cost Control Manager

Roles Responsibilities Develop and manage project budgets cost plans and cash flow forecasts Establish cost control systems procedures and reporting standards Monitor project expenditures against approved budgets and identify variances Ensure effective cost tracking and cost allocation for all project activities Prepare and review monthly cost reports forecasts and financial summaries Analyze cost overruns savings and trends and recommend corrective actions Monitor earned value productivity and cost performance indicators Provide accurate cost data to management for decisionmaking Coordinate with commercial and contracts teams on change orders variations and claims Review cost impact of design changes and scope variations Ensure variations are properly evaluated approved and recorded Work closely with project managers planners quantity surveyors and procurement teams Support procurement with cost evaluations and vendor negotiations Assist in value engineering and cost optimization initiatives Ensure compliance with contractual terms company policies and project procedures Identify costrelated risks and opportunities and implement mitigation measures Ensure adherence to internal controls audit requirements and financial standards Maintain accurate cost records and documentation Desired Candidate Profile Bachelor s degree in civil engineering Professional certification in Project Controls Cost Management Quantity Surveying or related fields is desirable Minimum 15 18 years of experience in cost control project controls within the construction industry
