Job Purpose: The Communications Manager, Marine Services, is responsible for managing the development, execution, and measurement of all communications within DP World Marine Services business. The role operates as part of a specialist team supporting business growth through strategic and tactical communications that drive customer preference and stimulate demand. This position reports to the Director, Marine Services Communications.
Key Responsibilities: - Implement and deliver communications strategies reflecting global and regional business objectives and growth priorities, tailored to diverse customers, employees, and stakeholders.
- Act as a strategic communications advisor to Marine Services business stakeholders.
- Drive communications activities ensuring business impact across targeted customer segments.
- Oversee inputs from Group Communications Centers of Excellence and external agencies, delivering measurable, cost-effective strategy execution.
- Manage and activate content calendars for internal/external websites, social media, and quarterly newsletters.
- Ensure timely and consistent delivery of communication reports.
- Maintain alignment of all business communications activities with global brand purpose and 'One DP World' positioning.
- Deliver world-class B2B communications to support both long-term company positioning and immediate Marine Services business goals.
- Lead scheduled, regular meetings with stakeholders and collaborators to ensure alignment and visibility of business developments.
- Develop deep sector knowledge, audience insight, and comprehensive understanding of services and products.
- Manage external agency and vendor teams, driving excellence in quality and output.
- Develop strategic narratives and key messages, producing high-quality, accurate content.
- Support maritime industry event participation, ensuring coherence with the global events plan.
- Uphold clear project management processes, guaranteeing high standards across all outputs.
- Maintain an actionable dashboard of metrics, monitoring and reporting delivery against well-defined objectives and KPIs.
- Collaborate effectively with Group Communications Centers of Excellence and regional communications teams to optimize channel strategy, reach, and impact.
- Act as an ambassador for DP World, consistently promoting positive behaviors and adherence to the company's principles, values, and code of conduct.
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills: - Bachelor's Degree required.
- Approximately 7-9 years of relevant communications, marketing, or related experience, specifically within the Marine/Shipping sector.
- Demonstrated expertise in providing strategic and tactical communications advice to diverse stakeholders.
- Proven track record leading stakeholder meetings ensuring business alignment and visibility.
- Deep sector knowledge, audience insight, and comprehensive understanding of marine services and products.
- Experience in managing external agency and vendor teams.
- Skilled in developing narratives and key messages aligned with strategic objectives.
- Experience supporting maritime industry event participation, ensuring strategic cohesion with global events.
