Roles Responsibilities Design and analyze structural systems ensuring they meet safety standards and regulations while considering environmental impact Prepare detailed project plans including timelines and budgets to ensure efficient project execution and resource allocation Conduct site inspections and assessments to monitor construction progress and compliance with design specifications Collaborate with architects contractors and other engineers to resolve design issues and implement effective solutions Utilize advanced software tools for modeling and simulation to predict structural performance under various conditions Assess and manage risks associated with construction projects identifying potential challenges and developing mitigation strategies Oversee the quality control process during construction ensuring materials and workmanship meet the required standards Prepare technical reports and documentation for stakeholders detailing project progress findings and recommendations Stay updated with industry trends regulations and technologies to enhance project outcomes and ensure compliance Participate in public consultations and presentations effectively communicating project details and addressing community concerns Desired Candidate Profile Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field with a strong foundation in engineering principles and practices Professional Engineer PE license is preferred demonstrating a commitment to industry standards and ethics Minimum of 35 years of relevant work experience in civil engineering with handson involvement in construction projects Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D and other industrystandard design software to create and modify engineering drawings Strong analytical skills to evaluate complex engineering problems and develop effective innovative solutions Excellent communication skills both verbal and written to collaborate with diverse teams and present ideas clearly Proven project management experience showcasing the ability to lead teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously Detailoriented with a focus on accuracy in designs and adherence to regulatory requirements Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and adapt to changing project demands and timelines Physical ability to conduct site visits and inspections including navigating construction sites safely and effectively
