Mechanical Engineer

Roles Responsibilities Design and analyze mechanical systems and components ensuring they meet precise specifications and industry standards Conduct simulations and modeling using CAD software to predict system performance and optimize designs effectively Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including electrical engineers and product managers to integrate mechanical designs into holistic systems Oversee the prototyping and testing of mechanical components iterating designs based on empirical data and user feedback Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards through rigorous testing and quality assurance procedures Manage project timelines and budgets coordinating resources and deliverables to achieve project goals efficiently Investigate and troubleshoot mechanical failures employing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions swiftly Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to innovate and improve existing mechanical systems Document design processes test results and project status providing clear communication to stakeholders Mentor junior engineers and interns fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the team Desired Candidate Profile At least 35 years of relevant industry experience preferably in automotive aerospace or manufacturing sectors Professional Engineer PE license or certification in relevant engineering disciplines is highly desirable Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field with a strong foundation in thermodynamics and fluid mechanics Experience with advanced CAD software e g SolidWorks AutoCAD and simulation tools e g ANSYS MATLAB is essential Proven ability to work collaboratively in crossdisciplinary teams showcasing strong interpersonal skills Fluency in English is mandatory additional languages like Spanish or Mandarin are a plus for global projects Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with a keen attention to detail in design and testing phases Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining highquality standards and meeting deadlines Demonstrated leadership qualities with a proactive approach to mentoring and developing junior team members Physical ability to perform handson tasks including lifting and moving equipment or prototypes when necessary
