About the role
This role exists to provide the empirical evidence required for our partners to form a view on complex corporate mandates. We are currently supporting a major financial entity with a comprehensive review of its internal operations and investment structures. The Associate Data Analyst will bridge the gap between raw information and the clear, actionable insights our clients expect.

Arabian Private Holdings was established to solve business problems that do not require massive consulting teams or decorative presentations. We work with family groups, listed corporations, and government entities to improve governance and portfolio clarity through direct principal involvement. By taking on a limited number of mandates, we ensure that our work is rigorous and our advice remains independent. We operate entirely as a remote firm, choosing to focus on the strength of our analysis rather than corporate overhead or aggressive growth targets. If a project does not fit our expertise, we are direct about it. When we take one on, we stay involved until the results are delivered.

What You Will Do
  • Clean and organize large datasets provided by clients to ensure accuracy before any analysis begins.
  • Create basic financial and operational models to test different scenarios for holding companies and their subsidiaries.
  • Conduct secondary research to provide context for the specific industries our clients operate in.
  • Prepare clear summaries of data findings that principals can use to form a view on corporate strategy.
  • Maintain the integrity of internal databases used to track the performance of various portfolio companies.
  • Assist in the documentation of operating model changes for the major financial entity we are currently supporting.
  • Collaborate with senior team members to identify trends or anomalies in client reporting and performance data.
  • Format charts and tables for final reports to ensure they meet our standards for clarity and precision.
What We Are Looking For
  • A strong foundation in logical reasoning and an ability to spot inconsistencies in numerical information.
  • Basic familiarity with tools like Excel or SQL to manipulate data and generate clear reports.
  • The ability to write in plain English without relying on corporate jargon or unnecessary complexity.
  • A genuine curiosity about how large organizations function and how capital is allocated.
  • Self-discipline to manage tasks and meet deadlines in a fully remote work setting.
  • Willingness to learn the specific methodologies we use to assess governance and portfolio efficiency.

As a fully remote firm, we rely on clear written communication and a high degree of individual accountability. Our structure is principal-led, meaning you will work directly with experienced partners who are responsible for the outcomes of their mandates. We do not have traditional office hours or physical headquarters, preferring to give our team the autonomy to produce their best work from any location. Mentoring happens through active participation in client projects, where junior team members see how complex decisions are actually made. We value results and clarity over the appearance of being busy, and we expect everyone to take ownership of their specific contributions.
