Roles Responsibilities About AMANA Group AMANA is in constant forward motion Over decades of growth we have adopted intelligent solutions that improve the way we build making AMANA a regional leader in the industry today We have gone beyond conventional construction by championing intelligent solutions that improve the way we build We are the region s trusted designbuild company specializing in industrial construction for over three decades Our reputation is built on our ability to provide turnkey solutions for fasttrack projects repeatedly We are a humancentric organization promoting learning and development opportunities for all employees to thrive in dynamic markets By investing in our people s continued growth and learning we challenge and change how we build together people and business Role Objective To manage the site execution of the project such that it is completed within the time cost productivity and quality requirements of the contract while adhering to the company s quality and safety practices To assign and distribute efficiently the available resources materials subcontractors and equipment on the project Role Responsibilities Assist in the introduction of new methods of construction equipment and machinery to improve the construction process Promotes a culture of logistic planning and productivity measurement Optimizes overall construction manpower equipment and materials allocation on site to meet budget Supervises the complete construction work of assigned project and ensures its completion within budgeted time cost and productivity and quality standards Supervises overall attendance productivity and safety of construction staff and nonstaff on site Assists Project Manager with preparation of Project Schedule Manpower Schedule Material Log and drawing log and any changes thereof in coordination with Planning and Cost Control Units for initial project planning Issues all siterelated material requisition forms using Product Catalogue coordinates purchase and delivery of required materials in coordination with supplier and oversees inflow outflow of site store materials Ensures that the quality of material and installation of work is in accordance with the acceptance criteria identified for the project by QA QC Conducts daily meetings with site staff to organize work scope for the day next day to ensure proper planning of site supervisory staff Responsible for issuing instructions to the site staff to complete the work in accordance with the project plan schedules specifications contract and allocated resources Responsible for monitoring all subcontractor work to ensure that the work is as per the job specifications timeline and contract requirements Monitors and compiles productivity rates as required by the Planning and Cost Control units Reviews and comments on methods statements issued by QA QC to ensure timely compliance and execution of the works Responsible for the timely relaying of daily site progress reports to Projects Control Responsible for the safety at site by coordinating with the site engineer and the safety officer Ensures his site image is in compliance with Company standards and policies Leads the site meetings to validate accurate forecasting and allocation of resources Corresponds with consultants and subcontractors on siterelated matters and ensures good relations with them Manages the overall site logistics to ensure efficient coordination and execution of works Manages the process of attaining necessary consultant authority approval needed to maintain execution schedule Assigns tasks and responsibilities to engineers and foremen as per directions of Project Manager Assists with recruitment and training of construction staff and manpower Assists in the training and development of personnel in the Construction function What makes a true AMANAian We know that our company growth and success come from our people who continuously drive our company partners and clients forward Our community of talented employees AMANAians are built on the eight foundations of the Group Amana workforce We are Team Players We are Reliable We communicate with Clarity We make decisions based on Understanding We are Accountable We foster Integrity We are Human Driven We are Adaptable and Agile Desired Candidate Profile Qualifications and Skills Bachelor of Science in Engineering Minimum of 8 years experience PMP and OSHA certification is an advantage Proficient in MS Project and or Primavera Demonstrated leadership and decisionmaking skills Resultsoriented with strong execution and teamwork Skilled in coaching mentoring and problemsolving Strong communication skills in English
