Lead project-level Quality Assurance activities, ensuring the Construction Quality Plan, QMS, audits, procedures and corrective actions comply with contractual, client, EPC and applicable ISO requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement and maintain the Project Construction Quality Plan and QA program.
- Prepare/review construction quality procedures and ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 29001 and project requirements.
- Develop audit schedules covering subcontractors and critical quality areas including welding, cleanliness, tightness and preservation.
- Review and approve subcontractor QA deliverables and monitor overall quality performance.
- Conduct internal audits, coordinate client/third-party audits and drive timely closure of findings.
- Monitor NCRs, corrective actions, surveillance findings and verify effectiveness of close-out.
- Conduct QMS inductions, training and quality awareness sessions for project and subcontractor teams.
- Coordinate quality meetings, QMS reviews and customer feedback/complaint resolution.
- Prepare project QMS performance reports, KPIs, quality trends and management review inputs.
- Coordinate with Site QC, Construction, Engineering, Client and subcontractors to resolve QMS and technical quality issues.
- Drive lessons learned and continuous quality improvement across the project.
Requirements
Requirements
- Engineering Degree/Diploma or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
- Minimum 10 years’ QA/QC experience in Oil & Gas/Petrochemical projects.
- QMS Lead Auditor certification with minimum 5 years’ Lead Auditor experience.
- Minimum 5 years’ EPC industry experience.
- Previous experience with major EPC contractors and ADNOC projects is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of ISO-based QMS, construction quality assurance, audits, NCRs, corrective actions and quality documentation.
- Excellent leadership, communication, coordination and reporting skills.
