Job Summary

We are looking for enthusiastic and hardworking Housekeeping Associates (Freshers) to join our hotel team. The role involves maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation standards in guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming experience for guests.

Training will be provided to suitable candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain guest rooms, corridors, and public areas according to hotel standards.
  

• Make beds, change linens, and replenish amenities as required.
  

• Handle laundry and linen services efficiently.
  

• Ensure hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards are maintained.
  

• Report any maintenance issues or lost & found items to supervisors.
  

• Assist in setting up rooms for guest arrivals and special requests.
  

• Follow hotel policies, grooming standards, and safety protocols.
  

• Provide courteous and prompt assistance to guests when required.
  

Requirements

• Eligibility: Pursuing or completed a Diploma/Bachelor's in Hotel Management/Hospitality
  

• No prior experience required; training will be provided.
  

• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
  

• Positive attitude, teamwork spirit, and willingness to work flexible shifts.
  

• Basic knowledge of cleaning equipment and materials is an advantage.
  

Requirements
Manage the day-to-day operation of the restaurant and bar Lead, support and give clear direction to the team Maintain high standards of customer service, cleanliness and hygiene Handle customer enquiries and complaints professionally Oversee responsible service and handling of alcohol Help ensure the restaurant and bar operate smoothly during busy periods Ideally 3+ years' experience in a senior restaurant, bar or hospitality management role Good spoken English and confident communication skills Comfortable leading a team and giving clear instructions Confident dealing with customers and resolving complaints Experience working with alcohol and managing a bar Mature, reliable and able to work independently Comfortable living and working in a smaller, more isolated location such as Kaikōura
