General Foreman

Work Description: Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities across multiple work fronts. Lead and manage foremen, skilled workers, and laborers to ensure the efficient execution of the works. Allocate manpower, equipment, and materials according to the approved construction program. Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with the approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and quality standards. Coordinate with Site Engineers, Survey Engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain smooth site operations. Monitor daily work progress and report productivity, delays, and resource requirements to the Site Engineer or Project Manager. Ensure that all required materials, tools, and equipment are available before commencing work activities. Inspect work areas regularly to verify workmanship and ensure compliance with project quality requirements. Enforce Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations, ensuring all workers comply with approved safety procedures and use the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Identify construction issues and coordinate with the engineering team to resolve technical and operational problems. Monitor housekeeping and maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment. Coordinate inspection readiness by ensuring works are completed prior to consultant inspections. Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure work is completed within the approved schedule. Maintain daily site records, including manpower deployment, equipment utilization, work progress, and material consumption. Assist in planning and implementing recovery measures to minimize delays and improve productivity.
