Planning Engineer – MEP

Job Description

We are Sisco Jobs, a recruitment consultancy based in Trichy, Tamil Nadu. We are hiring for the position of Planning Engineer – MEP in Dubai, UAE. We are seeking a skilled and motivated professional with a minimum of 5 years of experience in MEP planning. If you meet the requirements below, apply early as positions are limited.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed MEP project schedules and planning documentation.
  
• Prepare baseline schedules, look-ahead plans, and project progress updates.
  
• Monitor MEP activities against approved schedules and identify potential delays.
  
• Coordinate planning activities across mechanical, electrical, and plumbing disciplines.
  
• Track project milestones, resource requirements, and critical-path activities.
  
• Prepare progress reports, dashboards, and schedule variance analyses.
  
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, and project teams to align MEP activities.
  
• Support recovery planning and schedule revisions when project progress deviates from plan.
  

Required Skills

1. MEP Planning: Strong understanding of planning requirements across mechanical, electrical, and plumbing works.
   
2. Project Scheduling: Ability to develop, update, and monitor detailed construction schedules.
   
3. Primavera P6: Practical scheduling and project-control capability relevant to MEP projects.
   
4. Progress Monitoring: Ability to measure actual progress against planned activities and milestones.
   
5. MEP Coordination: Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary activities and schedule interfaces.
   

Preferred Skills

• Critical Path Method (CPM) and delay analysis.
  
• Resource loading and schedule optimization.
  
• Advanced reporting and project-control documentation.
  

Work Experience Requirements

Minimum 5 years of experience in MEP, as specified. Relevant experience in planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, and multidisciplinary MEP project environments is preferred.

Education

• Minimum: Typical qualification — Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
  
• Preferred: Relevant postgraduate qualification.
  
• Additional: Planning/project-management certifications are advantageous.
