Job Description

Role Purpose

The role is accountable for the end‑to‑end engineering, operations, and governance of enterprise network and security infrastructure supporting Smart City platforms. It ensures high‑availability, resilience, and compliance across LAN/WAN, security, cloud, and data‑center environments. The position directly influences service reliability, SLA performance, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence, acting as a senior technical authority within Managed Services Operations.

Core Responsibilities

• Enterprise Network & Security Ownership — Lead design, implementation, and lifecycle management of LAN/WAN, firewalls, load balancers, routing, switching, NAC, QoS, VRF, MPLS, and cloud‑integrated network services.
  
• Advanced Operational Support — Serve as L3 escalation point, perform RCA, drive incident resolution, and ensure operational continuity across mission‑critical environments.
  
• Architecture, Change & Capacity Governance — Govern change management, capacity planning, performance analytics, and compliance with enterprise standards and regulatory frameworks.
  
• Vendor, Stakeholder & Customer Management — Act as SPOC for OEMs and partners, manage escalations, align with internal teams, and ensure transparent communication with senior leadership.
  
• Documentation, SOPs & Process Excellence — Develop SOPs, technical guidelines, DR/BCP documentation, and drive continuous improvement across operations.

Requirements

Experience & Qualifications

• 9+ years in telecom/IT infrastructure with strong cloud and security background
  
• CCNP + multi‑vendor certifications (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco Security, ACI, NSX)
  
• Bachelor’s in computer science / information systems
  
• Proven experience in managed cloud services, enterprise operations, and mission‑critical environments
  
• Strong communication, reporting, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management skills
  
• Ability to operate in 24x7x365 environments with high pressure and rapid change
  

Benefits

Salary: 13-15K AED (Based on skills and experience)

Enrolled in or recent graduate of a degree/diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field Fundamental understanding of operating systems, networking, and cloud-based services Strong problem-solving mindset, with a passion for helping others Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English Self-motivated, organized, and able to thrive in a fully remote environment Basic knowledge of ticketing systems (e.g., Zendesk, Freshdesk) is a plus
