Resident Engineer – Consultancy

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Resident Engineer to oversee construction supervision and site operations for major high-rise, luxury and large-scale developments in the UAE.

The ideal candidate must have strong consultancy-side experience, with a minimum of 5 years specifically working as a Resident Engineer, and proven experience on Emaar projects.

Key Requirements

• Minimum 15 years of overall engineering experience.
  
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Resident Engineer with a consultancy.
  
• Previous Emaar project experience is mandatory.
  
• Strong experience in high-rise, luxury, mixed-use and large-scale developments.
  
• Experience working on a wide range of construction projects.
  
• Strong knowledge of construction supervision, quality control and project specifications.
  
• Good understanding of UAE construction standards, regulations and authority requirements.
  
• Experience coordinating with clients, consultants, contractors and subcontractors.
  
• Strong knowledge of technical submissions, shop drawings, material approvals and method statements.
  
• Ability to monitor project progress, quality and compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
  
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
  
• Ability to identify and resolve technical and site-related issues effectively.
  

Requirements

• Lead site supervision activities on behalf of the consultant.
  
• Monitor construction progress, quality and compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
  
• Coordinate with the client, contractor, consultants and other project stakeholders.
  
• Review and monitor technical submissions, shop drawings, method statements and material approvals.
  
• Conduct regular site inspections and ensure compliance with project requirements.
  
• Monitor project schedules and identify potential delays or construction issues.
  
• Manage technical problems and ensure appropriate corrective actions are implemented.
  
• Attend progress and technical meetings with clients and contractors.
  
• Maintain proper project documentation, reports and site records.
  
• Ensure construction works meet the required quality, safety, cost and time standards.
