Interior Designer

Job Description

Dejavu Interior Design is seeking a creative and technically skilled Interior Designer with experience in residential and office interior projects. The ideal candidate should be capable of handling the complete design process, from concept development and space planning to technical drawings, 3D visualization, furniture detailing, and execution support.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop creative concepts for residential and office interior projects.
  
• Prepare mood boards, material boards, color schemes, layouts, and client presentations.
  
• Produce detailed 2D drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, furniture layouts, and reflected ceiling plans.
  
• Create 3D models, photo-realistic renderings, and walkthrough presentations.
  
• Prepare detailed drawings for custom furniture, joinery, cabinetry, partitions, and other interior elements.
  
• Develop complete technical drawing packages using AutoCAD.
  
• Select appropriate materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, fixtures, and accessories.
  
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, suppliers, joinery teams, and site personnel.
  
• Conduct site visits, take measurements, and verify site conditions.
  
• Review shop drawings, samples, and material submissions.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
  
• Relevant professional experience as an Interior Designer.
  
• Experience in both residential and office interior projects.
  
• Strong knowledge of space planning, furniture design, joinery, cabinetry, materials, and finishes.
  
• Strong experience preparing 2D technical and execution drawings.
  
• Excellent 3D modelling and photo-realistic rendering capabilities.
  
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Adobe Illustrator.
  
• Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and presentation software.
  
• Hands-on experience with one or more 3D/rendering tools such as 3ds Max, SketchUp, Revit, V-Ray, Corona Rendered, Luminous, or Enscape.
  
• Ability to understand site conditions and translate designs into practical execution.
  
• Strong communication, client-handling, and coordination skills.
