THE MISSION?

Drive MICE Business: Develop and execute sales strategies to grow meetings, incentives, conferences, exhibitions, events, and group business for Mama Shelter Dubai.

Build Relationships: Identify and develop strong partnerships with corporate clients, event agencies, DMCs, PCOs, and key industry partners while growing existing accounts.

Be Out There: Conduct sales calls, client meetings, site inspections, presentations, networking activities, and industry events to generate new business and showcase what Mama has to offer.

Convert Opportunities: Manage MICE enquiries from first contact through proposal, negotiation, confirmation, and handover, ensuring a smooth journey from enquiry to event.

Sell with Creativity: Prepare and negotiate proposals, contracts, packages, and solutions that meet client needs while supporting Mama's commercial objectives.

Own the Numbers: Monitor your sales pipeline, revenue forecasts, conversion rates, and performance, providing regular updates and insights to the Director of Sales.

Know Your Market: Stay on top of Dubai's MICE trends, competitors, venues, and industry developments to spot new opportunities and keep Mama ahead of the game.

Team Mama: Work closely with Revenue, Marketing, Events, F&B, Reservations, Front Office, and Operations to ensure every MICE experience runs smoothly from start to finish.

Qualifications

MADE FOR YOU? ONLY IF…

You know MICE: You’ve got 3–5 years of hospitality sales experience, ideally with a strong focus on MICE, events, or group business, and you know the Dubai market inside out.

You’re driven by results: Sales targets motivate you. You know how to build a pipeline, convert opportunities, and turn business into revenue.

Relationships are your thing: You’re confident building strong connections with corporate clients, agencies, DMCs, PCOs, and industry partners and making sure they keep coming back.

You bring the energy: Confident, creative, and comfortable being out in the market, you’re not afraid to pick up the phone, make the connection, or put Mama in the spotlight.

️ You know how to sell the story: Great communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills are part of your toolkit.

You’re organized (even when it gets crazy): You can manage multiple leads, meetings, proposals, and deadlines without losing sight of the details.

You’re tech-savvy: Comfortable with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and hotel systems, you know how to keep your pipeline and sales activity on point.

You’re a MAMA person: Flexible, proactive, and always ready to meet clients, attend networking events, trade shows, and industry functions because great business doesn’t always happen behind a desk.
