About the Position

We are looking for an experienced and professional Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner to provide high-quality TCM consultation and treatment services on a part-time basis.

The practitioner will be responsible for assessing patients, developing individualized TCM treatment plans, providing appropriate TCM therapies, and working closely with the multidisciplinary clinical team to provide integrated and personalized healthcare.

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of Traditional Chinese Medicine, excellent clinical skills, and experience working with international and VIP patients.

Key Responsibilities

1. Patient Consultation & Assessment

Conduct comprehensive TCM consultations and patient assessments.

Review patients' medical history, symptoms, lifestyle, and health concerns.

Perform TCM diagnostic assessments, including tongue and pulse examination.

Identify patients' TCM patterns and develop individualized treatment plans.

Explain treatment recommendations and expected outcomes to patients.

2. TCM Diagnosis & Treatment

Provide professional Traditional Chinese Medicine diagnosis and treatment.

Perform acupuncture and other TCM treatments within the permitted professional scope.

Provide appropriate TCM therapies based on individual patient needs.

Develop personalized treatment plans for wellness, preventive healthcare, pain management, stress management, and overall health optimization.

Monitor patient responses and adjust treatment plans when appropriate.

3. Patient Care & Follow-up

Monitor patients during and after treatment.

Maintain accurate clinical records and treatment notes.

Provide patients with appropriate post-treatment advice and lifestyle recommendations.

Follow up on patient progress and treatment outcomes.

Maintain a high standard of patient safety and professional care.

4. Clinical Safety & Compliance

Follow DHA requirements, UAE healthcare regulations, and HYF Medical Center clinical policies.

Maintain appropriate hygiene, infection-control, and patient-safety standards.

Ensure acupuncture equipment and other treatment equipment are properly prepared, maintained, and safely used.

Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with medical documentation requirements.

5. Integrated Healthcare Collaboration

Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.

Coordinate patient care with the clinical team when necessary.

Provide TCM recommendations as part of an integrated healthcare approach.

Participate in clinical meetings and multidisciplinary case discussions when required.

6. VIP & International Patient Care

Provide professional and personalized services to VIP and international patients.

Communicate clearly and professionally with patients from different cultural backgrounds.

Maintain a high standard of patient experience, privacy, comfort, and confidentiality.

Build positive and long-term relationships with patients.

7. Clinical Documentation

Maintain complete and accurate patient records.

Document TCM assessments, diagnoses, treatment plans, procedures, and patient responses.

Maintain appropriate follow-up records.

Ensure all clinical information is handled confidentially.

Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) or a related field.

Valid DHA license or DHA eligibility as applicable to the position.

Minimum 3 years of clinical experience in Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Strong knowledge of TCM theory, diagnosis, acupuncture, and related treatment methods.

Experience in acupuncture and other TCM therapies is highly preferred.

Experience in wellness, preventive healthcare, longevity, pain management, or integrative medicine is an advantage.

Experience working with VIP or international patients is highly preferred.

Good clinical judgment and patient assessment skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Good knowledge of clinical documentation and EMR/HIS systems.

Professional, ethical, and patient-focused approach.
