About the Position

We are seeking an experienced, professional, and patient-focused Plastic Surgeon to join our medical team on a part-time basis.

The successful candidate will provide professional plastic and aesthetic surgical consultations, assess patients, develop individualized treatment plans, perform appropriate surgical and non-surgical procedures within their licensed scope of practice, and ensure a safe, high-quality patient experience.

The ideal candidate should have strong clinical and surgical skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience working with aesthetic, international, and VIP patients.

Key Responsibilities

1. Patient Consultation & Assessment

Conduct comprehensive consultations and clinical assessments.

Review patients' medical history, concerns, expectations, and treatment goals.

Assess suitability for surgical and non-surgical aesthetic procedures.

Explain treatment options, expected outcomes, potential risks, and aftercare requirements.

Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.

2. Plastic & Aesthetic Surgery

Perform plastic and reconstructive surgical procedures within the physician's licensed scope of practice.

Perform appropriate aesthetic procedures and treatments based on qualifications and clinical privileges.

Ensure proper pre-operative assessment and surgical planning.

Provide appropriate post-operative care and follow-up.

Monitor patient recovery and manage post-operative concerns or complications.

3. Patient Safety & Clinical Quality

Maintain high standards of patient safety and clinical care.

Follow DHA requirements, UAE healthcare regulations, and HYF Medical Center policies.

Maintain strict infection prevention and control standards.

Ensure appropriate documentation, consent, surgical planning, and clinical records.

Recognize and manage potential complications appropriately.

4. VIP & International Patient Care

Provide professional, personalized care to VIP and international patients.

Communicate treatment plans clearly and professionally.

Maintain patient privacy, confidentiality, comfort, and dignity.

Build long-term professional relationships with patients.

5. Multidisciplinary Collaboration

Work closely with dermatologists, aesthetic physicians, nurses, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals.

Coordinate patient care before, during, and after procedures.

Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions when required.

Support the development of comprehensive aesthetic and surgical treatment plans.

6. Clinical Documentation

Maintain accurate and complete medical records.

Document consultations, diagnoses, treatment plans, procedures, medications, and follow-up.

Maintain proper informed consent and surgical documentation.

Ensure confidentiality and compliance with applicable healthcare regulations.

Qualifications & Requirements

Medical degree (MBBS/MD or equivalent).

Valid DHA Plastic Surgery Specialist/Consultant License or DHA eligibility, as applicable.

Specialist qualification in Plastic Surgery recognized by the relevant UAE authorities.

Minimum 5 years of clinical experience in Plastic Surgery preferred.

Strong experience in aesthetic and/or cosmetic surgery.

Experience in facial aesthetics, body contouring, breast surgery, reconstructive surgery, or other relevant procedures is an advantage.

Strong clinical judgment and surgical skills.

Excellent patient consultation and communication skills.

Experience with VIP, international, or high-net-worth patients is highly preferred.

Strong knowledge of infection control, patient safety, and clinical standards.

Experience with EMR/HIS and electronic clinical documentation.

BLS/ACLS certification is an advantage.
