E & I Supervisor

Job Description

We are Sisco Jobs, a recruitment consultancy based in Trichy, Tamil Nadu. We are hiring on behalf of our client for the position of E & I Supervisor in Abu Dhabi. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise electrical and instrumentation installation, maintenance, testing, and commissioning activities at oil and gas facilities.
  
• Coordinate daily E&I activities and allocate work to technicians according to project and maintenance priorities.
  
• Review electrical drawings, instrumentation diagrams, specifications, and related technical documentation before execution.
  
• Monitor installation and maintenance of electrical equipment, instruments, control systems, cabling, panels, and field devices.
  
• Troubleshoot electrical and instrumentation faults and coordinate corrective maintenance activities.
  
• Ensure all E&I activities comply with approved procedures, permit-to-work requirements, and site HSE standards.
  
• Inspect completed work and support testing, commissioning, punch-list clearance, and handover activities.
  
• Coordinate with engineering, mechanical, operations, safety, and other site teams to complete E&I activities safely and efficiently.
  

Required Skills

1. Electrical Supervision — Ability to supervise field electrical installation and maintenance activities.
   
2. Instrumentation — Knowledge of field instruments, control equipment, calibration, and instrumentation systems.
   
3. E&I Troubleshooting — Ability to identify and coordinate rectification of electrical and instrumentation faults.
   
4. Technical Drawings — Ability to interpret electrical drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, and instrumentation documentation.
   
5. HSE & Permit-to-Work Compliance — Understanding of safe work practices applicable to oil and gas E&I activities.
   

Preferred Skills

• Oil & gas plant or project experience.
  
• Testing and commissioning exposure.
  
• Familiarity with hazardous-area E&I practices.
  

Work Experience Requirements

Typical requirement: E&I Supervisor positions in oil and gas commonly require prior hands-on electrical/instrumentation experience followed by supervisory or lead-level field experience. Education

Minimum: Typical — Diploma / Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or a related engineering discipline.

Preferred: Typical — B.E./B.Tech in Electrical / Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering.

Additional: Relevant oil & gas safety, electrical, instrumentation, or hazardous-area certifications are advantageous.

Requirements
Strong knowledge of HSE laws, regulations, and international standards. Expertise in risk assessment, hazard identification, and incident investigation. Familiarity with Quality Management Systems (QMS). Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and leadership abilities. Ability to conduct audits and training programs effectively. Proficiency in MS Office and reporting tools.
